“Life should be great! It should include provision and protection,” Pam DeBolt says. “And it can, if we understand all that’s available to us through divine care. It doesn’t matter what your needs are. Each need becomes an opportunity to see something better.” Pam believes a spiritual perspective can lead to stronger finances, relationships, and health. Her joyful attitude infuses her life, her conversation, and her message as a Christian Science Teacher.

As a child growing up in tough times in rural California, Pam says her family was “pretty enterprising.” “We didn’t have a lot materially, but we didn’t lack anything we needed, and fresh ideas for progressive steps came all the time.” She credits her mother’s tenacity and spiritual conviction — gained from reading a best-selling book on spiritual healing — Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy — with giving her a can-do approach to life, no matter how scarce resources were or what conditions they faced.

Pam loves seeing problems and worries as opportunities to change how we view our life and our circumstances. She asks her students to identify all that is good in their lives. “Do we really understand what is available to us, what our talents and abilities are? That’s where we have to start in order to make progress in our lives, our finances, our health, and our relationships.”

Since 1988 she has worked as a full time Christian Science practitioner to provide others with a spiritual perspective and approach to solving problems. She has traveled widely throughout the U.S. and Canada as a member of the Christian Science Board of Lecturship speaking to the public on practical spirituality in their lives.

Along with her healing work, Pam is a teacher of Christian Science, aiding her students in discovering the true relationship between God and themselves.
